Heirloom quality craftsmanship and traditional water gilding techniques are used in this P.H. Miller Studio original. The base is hardwood and it is meticulously water gilded and finished. The main flat panel is texturized with a technique known as strié, or combed gesso, before it is gilded. Available in 18-, 24-, and 36-inch lengths x 4.25 inches deep.

Split-Leaf Philodendron Coffee Table

The coffee table is carved from African sapele wood and covered in white, green and lemon gold leaf, the waterfall edge of the table and the tapered, looped legs lend an open airiness to the modern design. It has a non-traditional Asian influence that’s perfect for transitional or modern contemporary decor. Dimensions: 44W x 23D x 18T, the table has a lacquer-finished top.

The mirror itself is also gilded using a technique known as eglomise, reverse gilding and painting on glass. The origin of the Tabernacle Frame dates back to the Italian Renaissance and is noted as the original frame.
